After the hustle and bustle of visiting Angkor Wat, we retreated to the Lotus Blanc Resort. We were relieved that that there is a fine dining restaurant located inside the hotel, the Damnak Lounge. From the two degustation menus, I picked the European inspired four course meal. The kitchen greeted me with an amuse bouche, followed by an asparagus soup and a heavenly beef medallion. For dessert, Pakrinha offered me to whisk up a plate of passion fruit sorbet with some tiramusi. Ask for it - you won't regret the fresh taste! For a couple of hours, I completely forgot where I am. I can truly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Angkor Wat!
