We had a fantastic week residing in the very chic Shinta Mani Angkor at the end of March. It was simply a five star experience. The staff were exemplary and became our friends during our happy stay at this spectacular boutique hotel. We had a well appointed spacious deluxe bedroom with an enormous bathroom overlooking the pool which is nestled amongst tropical trees. The displays of Lotus flowers throughout the hotel were simply stunning. Hun, Jack, Rose, Chhing, Sophear, indeed all the staff (apologies for not mentioning you individually as you were ALL wonderful) had beaming smiles permanently and just couldn’t do enough for us. The Bensley Bar became a favourite haunt every evening for cocktails before a delicious dinner in the Kroya restaurant which served an excellent mix of Cambodian and Western dishes. Check out the spa and cooking class if you have time. We had a preview of the newest addition to the Shinta Mani - the new Shinta Mani Bensley Collection. It’s the perfect honeymoon destination with your very own Butler, stunning bedroom, exquisite bathroom and private individual pool. AMAZING! Thank you Shinta Mani. Maria & Tom (happy Buddha!)

From our greeting at reception with a glass of bubbly and a cold towel to our departure this hotel was outstanding.
The room was spacious with a comfy bed, small balcony and adequate bathroom.
The decor was striking in Black and white with a lovely picture of Angkor Wat's trees above our bed.
The breakfast was extensive with a buffet selection of cold items, then made to order hot selections that were delicious.
The same area becomes the evening restaurant and all meals that we had were very good.
The Shinta Mani Shack the sister property across the road that all guests of Shinta Mani Angkor are able to use has a wonderful Restaurant and it a great choice for lunch.
The pool area is nice also set in a sunny courtyard with lovely gardens.
The pool at Shinta Mani Angkor is more shaded as the buildings surround it.
The young woman that comes every day to make the beautiful flower arrangements is worth watching as she nimbly folds and cuts the Lotus into different shapes and arrangements.
The bar and particularly the barstool make you feel welcome and go out of their way to mix great cocktails, the happy hour is two for one and great value.
The happy hour across the road at Shinto Mani Shack starts an hour earlier that allows you to take advantage of both hotels tipples if you wish.
The lady at reception gave me a beautiful bouquet and card as I wash checking out as I had been unwell the day prior, this was a lovely gesture that I will remember into the future, until my next stay at Shinto Mani Angkor

Room Tip: The stairs to the first floor would be challenging for the frail or elderly, no lift.

Had the most wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything about it was excellent. The hotel is in a good location and you can easily walk to the bars and market off 'pub street'.

The staff were wonderful, very attentive, friendly and professional. We loved the fact that when you arrived back from a trip you were welcomed with a 'welcome home' a drink and cold flannel which in the heat was very much appreciated.

We stayed in a superior room. It was very clean, the bathroom was compact and had an excellent shower and all the extras such as tooth brush, comb etc that you may have forgotten.

The breakfast offered a range of food. There was a buffet as well as a small variety of cooked options. We ate at the restaurant on the first night and enjoyed eating diner on the swing seats. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

I had a pedicure which was excellent value for money and we also used the laundry service.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. I must say a particular thank you to Jerry who made our stay very special with his advice and assistance throughout our stay.

A wonderful relaxing hotel with the most incredibly friendly staff who make you feel that nothing is too much trouble.

This was the second time that I have stayed at this hotel and I would still highly recommend it. The hotel itself is immaculate there is nothing out of place and it is beautifully decorated. The rooms are large and the breakfast was amazing with loads of variety. The hotel is centrally located and It is only $2USD in a tuk tuk into the city centre or you could walk which would take around 10-15 minutes. The main draw card for this hotel is the staff. From the moment you walk into the grounds you feel relaxed and welcomed. There is always a smiling face to greet you with a wet towel and a glass of cold water. Every staff member we encountered were so friendly and could not do enough for us. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed four nights at Shinta Mani and couldn't have been happier with our choice of hotel. Everything from the room, to the pool, and the restaurant were fantastic. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and perhaps were the nicest people we'd ever encountered at a hotel. If you are planning a trip to Siem Reap you cannot go wrong with a stay at this place. A huge thank you to everyone who works there that made our trip so enjoyable!!
