Three nights and four days of bliss; Great location, wonderful service, good food and overall a charming experience. The staff make very effort to make you comfortable and have an eye for detail. Clean rooms, large bathrooms, nice pool, good bar and a great breakfast buffet will make your trip memorable. The Spa was brilliant and the traditional Khmer massage was a great help to my wife who had a pain in the neck and it wasn't me!

Room Tip: Ask for Land mark pool facing rooms

Borei Angkor is truly a beauttiful hotel with authentic Kmer decor. The staff is polite and caring, especially F&B and pool staff. The rooms are also well decorated but a bit dated and the matresses are extremely hard. The first night we stayed in a Landmark room (#145). It was gorgeous but smelt terribly of cigarettes. We were moved to a Deluxe the next day which was as nice but acceptable. Considering how much we paid for a night, Borei Angkor was good value for money, no doubt. What really made our stay enjoyable was the fantastic staff.

Room Tip: Beds in Deluxe rooms are better than in Landmarks

Stayed for four nights at this hotel. The room was lovely, pool area clean and most importantly the breakfast was top notch. My only critisism was that the only provide Evian water by the pool for US $3. Whilst this may sound a but picky, there is no need for them to supply water bottled in France when the local bottled water is just fine. This is purely a money making scheme. You do get two free bottles of local water in the room per day so my advice, take those to the pool. Also if you order anything by the pool the staff will wait for you to tip ~(even though technically it is optional). It can get a bit awkward. Other than that, this is a really good hotel.

Thank you very much for choosing Borei Angkor resort & Spa as place of your choice and gratify that you left with great memorable experience with us.

I have personally made a special note of the points mentioned that did not meet your standard. We provide various distilled bottle water to simply cater the need of individual ranking from pure drinking domestic water to imported water such as Evian for which prices are much different from one to another.

I cannot express enough how pleased i am of reviewing your positive comment, and regret that I cannot extend my service to succeed your desire while staying with us.

Thank you very much for the comment and hoping to welcome you back soon.

We stayed at the Borei Angkor in Siem Reap, Cambodia for three nights as part of a group tour we took of Southeast Asia. The Borei is one of the most luxurious hotels we stayed in. The entrance and lobby is large and welcoming. The staff are very attentive. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, but it didn't take long. We had a lovely, spacious, clean, luxurious room looking out over the pool area. We enjoyed it a great deal and would definitely return. Our friends had a room overlooking a back alley, so they didn't have a view but their room was every bit as nice as ours. Happy hour by the pool was fun; the pool was lovely; and the dining room served a generous and quality breakfast buffet.

We'd return.

We visited Angkor Wat on March 6-8 and decided to stay at the Borei Angkor Resort & Spa. It was a very pleasant experience at Borei - very friendly, helpful, and polited staffs. The lobby, dinning, pool, room and spa are well decorated and best of all the price was very reasonable including 1 free dinner for 2 (we booked directly with the Resort) comparing with other 4/5 Star Resorts nearby. We signed up for a personal driver/tour guide at the resort and this tour guide was exceptional - very well manner and spoke good English. His name is RAIN (2 thumbs up). The Spa was another bonus with very good masseues. Lastly, one evening we went for dinner in downtown with a ride on Tuk Tuk and the driver - Phuong # 2 was very charming. If we have a chance coming back to Siem Reap, we will definitely stay at Borei.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with pool view.
