My friend Nancy and I found this hotel in our Lonely Planet guidebook. We couldn't have been more happy with our stay. The staff made us feel as though we were home whenever we walked through the doors. They were always smiling and seemed genuinely happy to see us.
My favorite staff person was Mike. He picked us up at the airport and welcomed us into the hotel with a complimentary mocktail, which had ginger in it and was quite tasty. He arranged an aspara dinner show on our first night as well as having tickets to the Angkor Nation Museum so we didn't have to wait in any lines. He was always around when we needed him.
Our room was on the top floor and was very spacious and spotless. The bed was firm and even though it was twin sized, my feet never went over the end of the it. That was fantastic since I'm 6'0 and it's happened on more than one occassion.
The hotel is located close enough to walk to almost everything. We walked to the Angkor National Museum, Pub Street, the post office, a few temples, the Night Market, and many nearby restaurants.
I would highly recommend staying here. Oh and Nancy thought the pool was fantastic. More
