We stayed 2 days the the hotel. The facility is very well laid out and the service of the staff is excellent. It is a quality facility and the standard of the facility is extremely good . The meals are above average and an excellent array and choice. Moet at breakfast is an added touch.

From the title I do not mean that the hotel was empty, far from it, but that the staff to guest ratio was the highest that I have ever come across. Within hours of arriving every staff member seemed to know our names even when meeting them for the first time. This meant that the service was superb. Decor, old world colonial as found in the most comfortable and friendly hotels in this part of the world. Food excellent, try the dance show and meal and you will be very pleasantly surprised, I was.

Room Tip: Landmark rooms are first class and in keeping with the ambience of the hotel down to the 39s light switches

Do not go there, it looks like you have to negotiate everything with concierge. Food choices are limited at the restaurants and the head waiter is not a friendly person. The hotel plumbing fixtures need replacement.

Raffles has done a beautiful job of refurbishing this hotel. It was built in 1929 and was refurbished in 1997.
It's an elegant, serene, old world sort of hotel.
The bathroom is large and has a lovely big bathtub.
We loved the pool, which is huge and pretty but the water was really too warm to swim many laps.
The cocktail lounge is gorgeous and the piano player, who has clearly been playing there for years, played Hawaiian songs when he found out we were from Honolulu.

Room Tip: Ask to face a formal garden.

I took my 81 year old mother to the Raffles d'Angkor, for 7 nights and we were so impressed with the quality of service, the happy disposition of the staff, as well as the prime location. And of course a great pool. They think of everything including a packed breakfast to take with us on the temple tours. The quality of the meals and drinks were all very good, but at the end of the day it is just the quality of their people, I would happily go back again, go back to a second home....
