I was walking by and heard awesome music and a full size billiards table. So I had to stop in for some cold beers and pool. The cues are not very straight, the felt needs replaced, the balls are about 3/4 size of regulation size billiard balls and the cue ball is like a large gold ball with so many dents in it that it does not roll true. All of that being said, the cold beers and company made up for some crappy pool. Enjoy.

these guys are a cut above. location is great. close the action, but not right in the middle of it.
nice folks running the place. management has good policies in place, you can use the pool down the street at the other HI hostel.

but i can't give it 5 stars, because, like a lot of accomadations in Cambodia, they monetize their guests by selling tours and travel. i should have known better, but i booked a tour to Chong Knees floating village through here, at it was the WORST tour of my life. and thats saying a lot. and the tuk tuk driver i hired from here was average at best.

otherwise, a great stay. i recommend it.

We stayed at this place for 3 nights and we booked two twin bed rooms. We were allocated two rooms on the third floor. The rooms are comfortable with aircon and fan. The corner room is bigger. While hot shower with good water pressure is provided, the water smelled of rust and the colour is brownish. Don't use the water to brush your teeth, use bottled water instead. TV is provided but channels were limited but no one comes here to watch tv right?

The wifi is unstable and may take a while to load to even read emails. Get those cheap SIM card for faster internet access.

There are tables and chairs provided on the ground floor if you eat breakfast here or if you bought food take away. There's a pool table, two computers for you to use. You can even get tuk tuk to go to the airport. We were told we can use the pool and bar in another hotel about 300 m which we didn't use.

It is easy to walk to the pub street through the night market where you have plenty of eating, drinking, spa and shopping option. The place itself is quiet at night for a good night rest.

Room Tip: Ask for the corner room which is bigger.

This was a clean, friendly place to stay with very comfortable beds. Our room was private and had air conditioning. Some things we enjoyed about staying here was their downstairs pool table and the rooftop pool at their neighboring property, HI Siem Reap Deluxe.

One minor issue was that our AC would randomly stop working and need to be reset. If this happens to you go to the front desk and ask them to restart it.

I also want to give a heads up about their laundry marking system. They mark your clothes with colored threads, and this actually left a bunch of little holes in my clothes. Some unraveled later, or were just more prominent than I would like and I ended up throwing them out. I would probably get my laundry done elsewhere.

HI siem reap was an excellent last minute find for me. The dorm rooms are smaller than most so you can still get a bit of privacy, I booked and paid the price for a 5 person dorm but ended up being put in a 4 person dorm. The room was really clean with comfy beds and aircon. There's a big social area with a pool table, and they also have 2 computers free to use which is handy. They got a sign up sheet for shared tuc tucs to the temples, but it wasn't very obvious and unfortunately no one signed up while I was there so had to sort out one alone. I was there in low season though could barter a low price with another tuc tuc driver still.

One of the best things about this hostel is that they have a partner hostel just about 500metres down the road which you're allowed into as well, this one has a big balcony with a pool which is lovely to sit by and read/get tanned.
