“Loved it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2011

A friend and I stayed here for 6 nights in July. We were picked up by Resort staff from a meeting point with driver from Phnom Penh, and driven to the airport on departure, at no charge.
The Resort has about 18 rooms circled around a central pond. Rooms have a deck with chairs, table and fan, edging the pond. At the end of the deck is a plunge pool. Despite all rooms facing the pond the deck area felt private.
The room was large with an area for seating, desk, TV, coffee/tea making, fridge area and a sleeping (in our case large twin beds) area. Bathroom was roomy with a separate shower.

Location is about 10 minutes by tuk tuk to town or Pub St or 30 minutes to Angkor Wat etc. The distance away from town, being in a rural area meant the Resort was quiet, peaceful and relaxing and wasn't a problem in any way. Resort provided a free tuk tuk to and from town in the evenings.

The bar/dining room also overlooked the pond. Breakfasts were great with different juices, fruits and cooked selections each day and a bread/pastries basket along with a plate of bread pieces to feed the fish in the pond.

Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful, particularly when my friend fell and bruised her knee.
I would happily stay at Suites and Sweet resort again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed it hugely. The venue is beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and very well decorated and comfortable. The plunge pool is great after a days temple hiking. Although it's not in the town centre and some may find it a little isolated you can get into town with a free tuk tuk.

Outstanding hospitality and services.

Suites and Sweet has an outstanding team working for them.

Right from the seamless pickup arranged from Poipet to the drop to Siem Reap airport (bt the General Manager himself!!!), the experience was most memorable. The tuktuk pick up and drop to the main city was a service most appreciated. Fresh breakfast each morning left nothing more to desire for. Did not have lunch or dinner at the hotel, but I am sure the setting would have been wonderful.

The suites are spacious and have "personal" but not so "private" plunge pools attached. The hotel is new and I am sure that as the landscape develops, the privacy would be automatically addressed.

The lotus pool is a delight...

Overall a most delightful stay and the most wonderful way to explore the Angkor...

Thank you....

This hotel has a tremendous charm on its own. It is difficult to describe however staying in this heritage property is a serene and wonderful experience. It is hustle and bustle outside. It has a lovely restaurant, everything is excellent. The rooms are very large compared to the standard hotels you stay at, heritage and service of this hotel you will enjoy a true unique and authentic experience. It was so peaceful and beautiful, I would recommend it to anyone and feel it is worth the trip.

My boyfriend and I were fortunate enough to stay here for 4 over my birthday in December. The staff were amazing and our room with private plunge pool was much appreciated after a hard day touring around Angkor. Although slightly out of town we had our own Tuk Tuk with fantastic driver who was available all the time. Go into Siam Reap for the crazyness but live in luxury afterwards! Would definitely stay again!
