Stayed here both at the beginning and end of our vacation [May 2012] wiuth 3 kids - 6, 12 and 14

Our room was a low season special at $33 a night - for that we got two double beds, single bed, huge very clean room, wifi in room, hot shower, cable TV and fridge PLUS free breakfast for 5 people ! excellent food. The hotel is great to look at as it used to be an old Cambodian Dance school. Nice gardens and HUGE pool made it an oasis and great for when the kids didn't want to temple.

We were picked up at the airport for free and about 15 minutes to the hotel

The only downside is that you are about 1km from the old market area. There is a free tuk-tuk service [though we tipped most drivers $1.50 per trip] other than that a great deal and one of the few reasonably priced hotels with a pool.Me and my son rented bikes and cycled too and from the hotel most days - $2 a day for a bike [from town]. Would highly recommend to anyone that needs a pool or traveling with kids.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice - ask for a twin if traveling with 2~3 kids as there is room for the whole family

ANGKOR SPIRIT PALACE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE! One of the reasons why I loved Siem Reap so much is because of the superb service this hotel had ever offered us in our 3-day stay. I really loved their service and I feel like there is no match with any other 5-star hotel in town. Staffs are very friendly, caring, and accommodating; rooms are very clean and spacious; breakfasts are very good; every room has a wi-fi service; and hotel interiors are very nice! Also, I would like to thank Mr. Kim Deng (our driver, tourist guide, translator, all-in-one!) for the great service he offered us. He is such a great company. To all the staffs of Angkor Spirit Palace, thank you very much! More power to all of you, and to the owner of the hotel as well. Words can never explain how I feel for this hotel, (and how my friends and I felt when we left Cambodia). I was literally teary-eyed when Mr. Kim Deng dropped us in the airport for a final goodbye. My friends and I will definitely go back to this hotel. We left our heart in Cambodia! We love everything about Cambodia - the place, people, nature, cuisine, and hotel services. We love Angkor Spirit Palace and we will never forget how they made us feel so special. We really had a wonderful experience in Cambodia. Again, thank you! We will never forget this trip! =)

The design and the architecture made us feel like we are indeed in the heart of Siem Reap.

Our trip to Siem Reap would not be as remarkable and heartwarming if not for the wonderful staff who did nothing but serve us exceptionally well. Indeed, the concept of being in a palace lived up to the hotel's name. They were very accommodating, friendly, courteous and most of all, genuine. Even prior to our date of stay, we have been in constant communication with your staff regarding the transfers from the airport and to and from Poipet. The courtesy and the determination shown by the staff already created a good impression to us even before our trip.

Upon learning that we will be leaving early for the Poipet border, the receptionist (I'm sorry I wasn't able to get his name but he was assigned on the night of May 24) volunteered to pack our breakfast so we won't get hungry while travelling. This made us feel like the staff was really after our welfare and the simple gesture made us feel well taken cared of. The breakfast was very good and the waiter was very attentive. He even came up with an iced coffee for my friend.

My special thanks and commendation would go to Mr Kim Deng for being such a nice tour guide, driver and most of all, a friend to us. Words are not enough to thank and praise him for the dedication, humility, professionalism and kindness that he has showed us. He was very patient with us. He was very willing to bring us to different places in Siem Reap, gave us tips on what to do and where to go, asked for discounts and made sure that were secured when we travel. We felt like we have found a friend in Cambodia since the service that he provided was personal and outstanding. Our whole trip would not be this amazing without Mr Deng. It was like we have found our second home in Siem Reap.

They left a good impression to us and without any hesitations, we will definitely go back and stay in Angkor Spirit Palace. We have been recommending your place to our friends and family, and have been encouraging them to go to Siem Reap so that they can experience the same hospitality.

Room Tip: Angkor Room is very spacious! Better take the van since it is more comfortable. Look for Mr Kim D...

My friends and I extremely enjoyed our stay in this hotel not only because of its spacious and clean rooms, but also because of its very accommodating staff (special shout out to our driver and new friend, Kim Deng). They willingly accommodated our requests (i.e, change of room when the air condition in my friend's room is not working properly) and the front desk even arranged for a shuttle that will take us to the Poipet border. The breakfast was great, with unlimited orange juice. We never thought we'd enjoy our brief stay in this country that much, but thanks to Angkor Spirit and its staff, we felt like rockstars! :) Apart from the very friendly hotel staff, they likewise have a swimming pool and billiards table for the guests to make use of. Although the hotel is not located in downtown Siem Reap, guests can avail of the free tuk tuk service (but we opted to avail of the shuttle service for a minimal fee since it was scorching hot) which will take them to the restaurants or the night markets in town. Plus the town is more or less only 5-10 minutes away, so there is absolutely no problem with its location. Our very friendly driver, Kim Deng, brought us to the best restaurants in Siem Reap, including the one managed by the owner of the hotel (who gave us discount) and he even arranged our dinner (with cultural show) at the Angkor Mondial. All in all, this hotel is highly recommended! A+++ kudos to the hotel staff for treating your guests well. Will definitely go back next year :)

The very first impression we had when arriving at Angkor Spirit was "Oh, WOW!" This building is stunningly beautiful. Set just outside the noisy city (but convenient, especially with complimentary tuk tuk transportation)- this hotel is peaceful and calming.

Our second impression was how wonderful and friendly ALL of the staff was. From the front desk who helped us with our bags (and met us with umbrellas when it started to rain), to the restaurant staff...everyone was very kind and considerate.

The rooms themselves are large and comfortable- kept spotless by daily housekeeping. Instead of being awoke by loud backpackers/partying in the middle of the night (like other guest houses in town), we slept incredibly well, surrounded by peace & quiet and cooled by the A/C. Highly recommended for couples!

We stayed 3 nights and would have loved to stay even longer if we could have managed.

Thank you so much, Angkor Spirit Palace!!
