Spent a fabulous half day trip visiting Angkor Wat & surrounding temples with a well informed tourist guide Chanrong Kol , guide organised through the Viroths Hotel in Siem Reap .
Definitely an area to visit , private guide adds more depth & knowledge to the tour , highly recommend

Welcome to hospitality in Cambodia, the Beige combines luxury with local in a very elegant way.

We just spent 3 nights discovering Angkor Wat and surroundings as our first time to Cambodia. In selecting the Beige the appeal of a good hotel while being able to connect was what took us in, and the team at the beige made this all come true! Koichi and his team, mostly from the local village, make you feel at home in a way that you are home.

We traveled with a 4 months old baby and the team immediately took us, and especially the little one, in.

It’s heartwarming to see how happy the team is working there and the positive energy which there is about the development for the local village.

Our driver, Wan Sak, has been a hero in taking us everywhere, listening to our requests (as well as to a sometimes screaming baby) and making happen what we asked for!

In terms of the facilities, the tents are beautifully designed and have good privacy. Off course it’s a tent so there is a connection with the outside world, but an enjoyable one. In the morning the buffaloes graze at your doorstep and at night stars are bright.

The pool is located at treetop level so you can see the sunset enjoying a swim. When we were there the area underneath was still being developed and I’m sure it will be just as stunning soon.

Food is served in the main building as well as in the tent if requested, or if you want to go and have a morning sunset at the temples somewhere, breakfast perfectly comes in a travel basket ready to go, even at 4:30am at night!

In the end it’s the team that makes it, thanks to all!

Dear Mark N

Thank you for choosing us a hotel on a special day.

It was a time when we heard about that and when we played with a beautiful child we had a big smile.
You warmed our hearts. Your joy is our passion.

We are delighted and proud to be a country village and work in the countryside.
More than anything, I was honored that you were pleased with that.

Please give us your time when we will meet next time.
There are lots of things we want to introduce and places we want to bring.

I hope you were full of joy and a wonderful anniversary.

Best Regards,
Koichi

Nothing short of spectacular - located outside Siem Reap but at reasonable distance from the temples of Angkor, The Beige embodies everything about luxurious countryside living.

The staff are super-friendly and attentive, and what I appreciated most about the management was the initiative they've taken to train/employ members of the rural communities who also happen to be their neighbours.

The Beige is a world of it's own, so much so that it's going on top of my list of places-to-consider if I am ever to write a book :p

We came last December. I became a fan of THE BEIGE.
And we also came back.

I think that it is a hotel which is only here in the world.
It mixes Japanese a finely tuned service with the warm service of Cambodia.
In THE BEIGE, the number of facilities that can be played further seems to be increasing.

I am looking forward to next time.
Thanks again THE BEIGE team.

We were lucky enough to stay in The Beige for one night and a full day, and what a time it was! We had a riverfront tent, which was stunning, and we were picked up from our earlier hotel in the centre of Siem Reap. On our way to The Beige, our guide Koichi jumped out and bought us sugar cane juice and banana fritters from the market!

When we arrived, the entirety of the staff was outside to greet us. Check-in was incredibly friendly and came with drinks, and then we were taken up to our rooms and introduced to every amenity in it. Air conditioning (which we were worried about in 35 degree heat!) was brilliant, and it's genius to have an air conditioner for the room and one directly above the bed as well.

I can't say enough good things about the staff, especially Koichi and Rado, who looked after us superbly (as well as a woman whose name escapes me but who was equally fantastic.) They sat down with us, talked about what we expected from the day, helped us handcraft trips, talked through timings, food, gave us recommendations and so on. Undoubtedly the best trip we did was the picnic at a temple which we got all to ourselves. While we were there, Rado had so many great ideas for photos that our friends back in the UK asked if we'd been on a professional photoshoot!

Our free airport transfer the next day came with fresh coconuts and a hand-drawn sketch by Koichi which we treasured. The entire staff came outside to wave goodbye to us as well. There are just so many things we loved about the place - the incredible sunset at the suspended pool, the water buffalo exploring the area as you ate breakfast, the fire pit at night - and we would come back in a heartbeat. We do a lot of travelling, and this is the best hotel we've ever stayed in.

Room tip: all tents seemed equally nice

Greetings from THE BEIGE team!
We are super glad to hear and we can’t describe about our gratitude to you.
We would like to say thank you for this incredible review with the mentioned about us from the beginning to the end of the stay and also about the staff. This is very helpful for us to get other customers so we can spread our warm services to them as well. In between, we really hope that you like the sugar cane juice and the banana fritters from our local market still :D. For your next visit, let’s grill banana at THE BEIGE river side together.

Our team is looking forward to hosting you again soon.
