We stayed in the sweet sleeper cottage for two nights, with family nearby in cabin 1.
Comfortable bed, shaded location kept cabin cool. Loved the vintage, spacious fridge!
Green practices of owners assure this property to be as lovely for future generations. Friendly, helpful, personable staff welcomed us and shared the history of the property; fascinating. The fairy houses and flowers add to the charm...

We stayed at cabin #19 which has about everything you may have at home but in a rustic setting with a Heck of a nice view. There is plenty to do around here and the staff is more than helpful. If staying here for more than a few days. I would not pack up a bunch of food for your stay. It seems easier to drive into the town of Walker and pick up what you need for your stay. Plus this saves you time on packing and repacking when you are susposed to be relaxing.

The chipmunks here are adorable, count on the walking right up your shoe for food when they get comfortable with you.

Kayaks and life jackets are available for use with no additional charge. If you are an introvert like me and being with four families in a cabin for several days. The kayaks make for a great way to spend some alone time out on the lake.

Very nice place which puts a lot of effort into making the resort as environmentally friendly as possible.

1st Time but not the last!! The cabins are beautiful and comfortable and wonderfully stocked! No need to bring anything but your favorite foods. Kim, Big John, Chris, Ryan and Emily are the Best!,,,, So talented and incredibly helpful. We had reflexology, foot detox, free aromatherapy class, free photography class....much much more Wow!!! Two teen boys had a blast on the free water boats, fishing, playing Bball, billards, badminton. It was refreshing to have the outdoor fun and so many free and fun activities offered. The Lodge is Beautiful and bingo was great fun! So close to Itasca and many other fun available fun activities close by. Grocery shopping very close including a Walmart only 20 min away. Do yourself a favor and take the family vac you deserve !

Room Tip: Many types of cabins to choose from, some more rustic than others. All are wonderful. Their website is so very helpful but if you need further info, call them they will walk you thru so you will get exactly what you need and want!

My family has been coming here every summer for 12 years now and we have no complaints! Kim and John are wonderful. We always take advantage of Bingo night and Reflexology or Massage when we're there and love using the kayaks and sauna. Bring your own boat or rent one there, and bike on the Heartland Trail. If you are looking for a party atmosphere this might not be the place for you, but we love it and can't wait to go again next year!

Like many other Crow Wing Crest reviewers, our family has been vacationing here for decades (since the 50s!), which provides a unique perspective on why the place is so special. Yes, there are plenty of modern amenities, but in other ways, time stands still at Crow Wing. The kids in the playhouse, the teens on the beach, the adults around the picnic table, the loons over the lake, the spectacular sunsets . . . not only do you forget what day it is here, but what year, and sometimes what century. Crow Wing Crest is the perfect antidote to today's high-speed, high-stress lifestyle. We're already counting down the days 'til we return next summer.
