Decided to try someplace we hadn't been before for Sunday brunch, checked TripAdvisor & decided to try Jefferson Market. Initial impression was OK, one orders from a limited menu, issued a card to indicate to the server where the order goes, and invited to find a table. So far, so good. After a few minutes, one of the two meals we ordered arrived with two overlooked slices of bacon stuck together, several slices of lukewarm toast, 3 small pieces of cantaloupe, and a couple eggs sitting next to a small mound of hash browns. The toast was returned & reemerged a few minutes later, still lukewarm but on a very warm plate. This coincided with the arrival of my friend's breakfast, approximately 7 or 8 minutes after mine arrived. Everything tasted good, it is just unfortunate that the presentation element was so lacking. My understanding is that this isn't the main focus of this establishment, their bakery is, so that's why I am rating a 3 instead of lower.
