Pro’s: Tawnee, Sara (staff) were friendly & very caring. Breakfast was fresh & refreshed even with voracious hordes. Beds & room were comfy as usual with the brand. Housekeeping staff also kind & obviously professional. Pool maintenance observed checking chemicals (much appreciated). Windows open, which is a nice feature. Other guests were kind enough to let us in at the door that didn’t work with the key cards (outside pool).
Cons: Renovations appear to be the excuse for storage of broken & extra equipment & chemicals in hallways and stairwell including exit (fire code & safety violation). Water pressure was FREQUENTLY a problem; showers are sort of drizzle/spray/drizzle. On-site guest laundry actually is on the co-owned adjacent property (Red Roof). Funky odor in room seemed to be associated with the noisy below-window a/c unit; changing filters may help (or maybe the units are being replaced).

We stayed in Ann Arbor one night to house hunt for an upcoming move. The hotel was in a great location. The parking lot was a little small and packed, but we did find a spot. The hotel is doing some remodeling, but we heard no noise and our room was clean. I felt the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was typical. Food was what you’d expect. The front desk staff at check in and check out were very friendly. I would stay here again.

We frequently stay at Comfort Inns & this one is typical for the brand. Easy to find right off of the highway.
More than adequate parking right in front of hotel. Front desk staff welcoming and friendly. They were renovating the dining area while were there so it was a bit dusty during the day, but each evening they were scrubbing it to prep for the breakfast.
Room was clean, beds comfortable with 4 pillows each. The bathroom was a bit tired and should be refreshed soon. The towel rack was pulling away from the wall and we notified the front desk to have it repaired after we left.
Breakfast meal was the usual yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastries/toast/bagels, fresh fruit, cereal, waffles, sausage, eggs and potatoes. The staff kept it filled even with a large crowd.
The one thing I will add as a bit of an obstacle is that it can be challenging returning to the hotel from the University of Michigan. Difficult to turn left - we ended up using a red light about a block away and approaching from the rear of the hotel.

Very welcoming and helpful front desk set the tone for our stay. We particularly liked the large indoor pool. The in-room refrigerator was a bonus. We thought that breakfast was very varied and very plentiful. There were hot options such as eggs and sausages as well as the typical Belgain waffles, cereals, and breads and muffins. We thought the array of yogurt choices was extensive, and there were also hard-boiled eggs. The fruit basket had three choices. And the staff kept refilling everything. The room with two double beds was a bit cramped but not so bad. Wi-fi was a low point. One often had to re-install. But it worked and was free. We also enjoy the iced water and cookies that seem to be typical of a Comfort Inn. We were on the third floor, and it was a week end, so we were not bothered at all by the renovations being done on the second floor. During the week it could be different. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Beds were really comfortable and I like that there are four pillows and a comforter on each bed. Lots of tv channels available in HD on a nice television. Fridge and microwave also a plus. Room was just a bit noisy first floor and remodeling going on. Heated indoor pool was great!
