Great water park if you are staying in the Jumeirah beach hotel or Madinat. You can gain access an hour before anyone else and this is the time to go. There are 3 fast rides and a great area for little ones. If you are not staying atone of the hotels I have mentioned I would go to Atlantis instead.

As guests at The Madinat, we would get to the park early between 9.30 and 9.45. We were able to check in (get wristband) but not enter the park. They usually allowed entrance at 9.50 without queuing again to check in. If we were particularly early, we would check in then go over to JBH pool for a 10 minute dip! On entry to the water park we would go straight to the Surf Rider before the queues formed. We found the park to be quite busy by 11.30 so we would do the main rides first - surf rider, tantrum alley, Burj surj. Then we would leave the park and return to the pools in the hotel. By midday, the queues were just to long for it to be an enjoyable experience. It was particularly busy as it was Eid (a holiday following Ramadan).

Having been to many Water Parks (inc Disney) I can honestly say this is one of the best. Yes, it's not cheap, but for the price you get access to some of the most advanced rubber-ring flumes/coasters I've ever riden, and some really scary thrill rides for older children/adults who enjoy them. There are also two artificial waves to ride, and a large (much cooler) wave pool for everyone to enjoy. The 'lazy river' type loop was very varied, with tunnels and greenery all along.
The food was slightly disappointing, but we were just happy to have the option to eat as it was Ramadan and most other places didn't serve anything. It was 40oC+ on the day, but there was enough shade and cool water to keep us comfortable.
It was July (low season) so not too busy, which was fantastic for us.

Is really what a water Park should have.
Nice slides, cold water in Summer and nice places to have lunch.
Perfect to have a nice family day with family.
Better if you get one of the discounts offered.

Great place to mess around on the slides but make sure you get there early as it gets very busy by 11.30am and the queues can get very long. Make sure you wear plenty of sun cream and/or and top as you WILL burn without realising!
