There rooms are very Large with tre beds and two toilets and a very nice kitchen. The hotel is good when you travel with kids. The pool is small, but okay. You can go on the internet for free. The location is not good, you need a taxi when you go out of the door. The hotel is cheap.

Best hotel apartment with very good hospitality
Stayed in the Golden Sands 5 for three nights. It was close enough to the supermarket, metro station and Burjuman Mall for convenience, although in a very quiet area of the city. It's not the place to stay if you need to be in the center of the action. The pool was clean and perfectly OK, our room had all we needed. No complaints about the staff, who handled everything pleasantly.
Stayed in Golden Sands 5. Bathroom a bit scruffy but ,as with rest of the studio apartment it was adequate. Used the pool on the roof - good. 5 is joined to 3 where there is another pool, internet connections and small restaurant with an outside eating area - had breakfast there one morning which was OK. However, both in Golden sands and elsewhere there are loads of eating places to suit all tastes and pockets.
We lived in Dubai previously, so chose the Golden Sands area because we knew it was a good location. Weather was cool so we could walk to the creek, metro station etc. Metro was new for us and very useful although taxis are still cheap. Had a great week.
Having decided on an impromptu trip to Dubai (being a resident of nearby Fujairah) I booked the Golden Sands apartment studio with 2 rooms last minute. The price was unbelievably good value-Only £220 for 4 people for 2 nights. The rooms were incredibly clean, almost glimmering. The hotel was easy to find with all the other golden sands hotels nearby, it was almost like being in a community of golden sands.The location is perfect (if you have your own transport)
The stand out of the hotel had to be the staff. The concierge and front desk were slick and professional, checking us in and out quickly and without fuss. The porter was the highlight of the stay. His manners were impeccable and he did not mind taking our numerous heavy bags to our room and even to our car. The internet was free in the rooms and in the cafe, what a bonus!!!
We ordered room service one night. it was cheap and delicious. My compliments to the chef on his heavenly veg curry.
We did not sample the pool however we had a peek and it looked clean and surrounded by the bronzed beauties you only find in Dubai!!
I can honestly say this was the best, hassle free hotel experience I have ever had!
