The lobby of this hotel is breath taking, the Jumeirah brand showing itself again to be first class. The hotel has many outlets, with our favourite being the Bahri bar which overlooks the Burj Al Arab. Its a must see if you are in Dubai.. the terrace of this bar shows the Burj Al Arab in all its glory. We have also stayed in this hotel, but a few years ago, the rooms are wonderful, with egyptian cotton bed linen, fantastic layout and most have views over the arabian gulf. Its a fantastic place for a holiday, as the Al Qsar, Mina A Salam, and madinat jumeirah are all linked.

Room Tip: Any Jumeirah hotel is tip top quality.. with the service and luxury only Dubai can do so well.

I won a trip at work to stay at this hotel and i wasn't disappointed with the stay! I have been to Dubai several times before but had only eaten here, so it was to actually nice to a be a guest there. The service, room, pool, restaurants were all amazing. Having to deal with a group of insurance salesmen and woman is a hard job at the best of times, but the staff made us all feel extremely welcome and helped with everything. The hotel has several restaurants and is attached to the Madinat shopping centre where most of the facilities are, such as trilogy nightclub, Trader Vics, The meat co, amongst other restaurants bars and shops. The Friday brunch at the terrace restaurant is one of the best ive been to in Dubai! The beach was lovely, and you can get free entry to wildwadi as a guest. A great hotel and a great location. Close to Burj al arab, Jumeriah beach hotel and wild wadi.

Have just returned after having 10nights in the Mina A Salam we had an ocean delux kingsize room which was spacious and lovely veiws, fresh fruit every day and plenty of water left in the room for us for when we returned. We booked afternoon tea at the Burj al Arab which was a great experience plenty to eat and we could not eat it all.The staff were fantastic nothing was to much trouble to them pool staff Abra staff and restaurant staff. We also had a meal at the fish restaurant in the sea a little pricey but very nice. Friday we went to the brunch oh my god you have to do this if nothing else the food and drink which was plentiful champagne was flowing and you never had an empty glass you could have cocktails or beer or anything you like we went to the Al Quasar for this and well worth the money. The only problem is the lifts are a long way from the rooms especialy if you have mobility problems.breakfast was 150drms per person yet it cost less to have breakfast deivered to your room which we did, and it was plentiful so make a sure that the breakfast is included in the price or go for half board even if you want to eat out as there are many restaurants to choose from we like eating out and trying different restaurants. We made the mistake of going room only so it can work out quite expensive. They offer free entrance to Wild Wadi which is brilliant and the beach buggy takes you there and brings you back. The staff were so helpful and would like to thank them very much I would definately recommend this Hotel.

We have just returned from 6 nights at Mina A Salam on a last minute family break with our three children (16,13 and 7). It was recommended by a friend, and certainly lived up to expectations. We had ocean deluxe sea rooms on the 4th floor which were spacious, well laid out and had everything we needed, including kettle for tea and coffee.

What impressed me about this hotel is that it has retained a distinctly Arabic feel. So many hotels could be from anywhere in the world, but Mina A Salam could only be UAE. A wonderful mix of luxury blended with Arabic tradition, which gives it a marvellously restful f.

We opted for half board, which turned out to be a good choice. Unlike in other hotels we have stayed in, there are a wide range of restaurants in which to use the vouchers, catering for a wide range of tastes. This included the pool bar for lunch, which was great news if we wanted to venture further afield for dinner. The only restaurant in which we found it very poor value was Zheng He's (the Chinese restaurant) where there was a large supplement for one dish per course. The buffet breakfast was excellent and included some pork dishes, which was a surprise, but very welcome. We also tried the evening buffet at the Beachcomber (Jumeirah beach) which was also excellent.

The abras (small boats) which take you along the waterfront are a great touch, allowing you access to much of the Jumeirah resort without having to walk in the heat. Our daughter loved the turtle sanctuary, and the free lollies, fruit and other treats which appear regularly by the pool. Mina A Salam seems to have by far the best location in terms of breeze - the pool area is set up higher than other pools, bringing breeze on even the hottest days.

Free access to Wild Wadi meant that we could make several trips but not feel the need to stay all day. Entry was easy and there was a wide range of rides. We also booked a speedboat trip along the coast through the hotel which provided an different view of the area. We had the added bonus of an impromptu fireworks display in honour of a VIP at Burj al Arab, which the kids loved.

The staff were unfailingingly helpful for our entire stay. A special thank you to Owen at the pool bar who negotiated our invariably complicated lunch orders without a problem, and always with a smile.

We booked airport transfers through the hotel: both were straightforward and represented good value. We will definitely return and would recommend the hotel without reservation.
