It was an awful experience! I am not hard please but I do work in customer service and have certain expectations on customers should be handled. First if there is a problem with my reservation, dont have me sit in the bar for 20 mins while you try and sort it out. Second if a customer comes and says that his room key doesn't work not once but twice get someone to check it out what are the odds of 2 room keys not working. Also if you are going to have the audacity to tell me that I am not allowed to bring hookers up to my room from outside at least dont have hookers sitting in the coffee shop looking at me as you say this to me. There room they put me in wasnt bad but it was just above the hotels club and all I heard all night was the beat of the club. If I could have given this experience a 0 out of 5 I would they were rude and incompetant. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have stayed in a good few Ramee hotels because the price to quality ratio is usually pretty good and fro a budget weekend the are a great choice, clean and with all basic services you need in a hotel.

I have stayed at the Regal Plaza a few times, a few years ago. It has gone downhill since then. The room was pretty poor, dirty windows, filthy, filthy carpets of only the type you usually find in some of the worst 3 star hotels you never want to go to in India. At least there was only one cockroach to kill.

The bathroom was very poor, cracked tiles and black mould around the sink and bath. The safe didn't work.

Breakfast ws very poor, cheap and nasty coffee and bread, stale fried eggs and stringy meat, not convinced it was real.

The only saving grace of this place is the sports bar which has a great selection of beers and decent food.

You can get a much better place to stay for less money, and in the same great location, But don't let it put you off Ramee hotels, they are usually pretty good, this one is going to the dogs and needs some urgent maintenance and TLC.
