Me hubby and 2 boys aged 8and 3 just back from 2 weeks. Hotel is amazing. So much to do that we will need to return to do it all! Dolphin adventure was so good and you get about 40 mins with them, such amazing experience for adults and children alike! Food is top quality though disappointed with speed of service and food at locatelli which was just like an average pizza and pasta joint....not a 2 Michelin star as advertised. However that aside the other restaurants were excellent. Favourite being rostang, both for breakfast and dinner. They have special deals once a week where wine is included for only 15 pound each, which is well worth the cost as a bottle is 30 min. Drink is expensive, about £8 a pint, but if you are smart enough to stop in duty free before you leave the airport you can have a wee apprative on the balcony after dinner! Hotel staff are extremely well trained and courteous, a huge thank you to Nivrijana on 12 th floor( spelling?) who looked after our room. What a lovely guy and nothing was too much trouble....hotel management take note as he really made it a luxury experience, kids loved his towel puppies, croc, monkeys etc, and always checking with us when we wanted room serviced. Bonus deserved! Room was very nice on east tower looked over both gulf and palm/city, as well as the aquarium below which was unbelievable. Look out for the giant grouper who we call big bad Barry (kids) but the rays and sharks also unreal experience. Apparently hotel as own ozone system which we experienced as one afternoon there was a thunder storm across jumeria but we had a cLear sky, and they also tell u this on the back office tour. Water park good but we bit too old for the 3 year old, even the kids section as it dumps water over the water play every few mins which he isn't in to. Rest good but very hot as the area just absorbs heat, preferred pool area and loungers with the individual shade sat zero entry pool. Staff provide cucumber for eyes, ice pops, cold towels, with service to you so no need to go yourself for drinks. Food at pool very nice, come in tiffin boxes, my advice is if you do want lunch after a big breakfast get one between two as portions are enormous. Also recommend nisimi beach for evening dinner if you want a relaxed affair and food( tacos, burger, steak, chips, club sandwich) lots too choose but more chilled if your palate gets fed up of the rich micheline food ;.). All in all an amazing time had, well done to the hotel as it delivers on all levels, can't recommend more highly. Thank you for a brilliant holiday. Will return.
