Our 4-night stay at the Luang Say was brilliant in every way. This is truly a luxurious property with well maintained rooms and grounds, but what makes it even special is the attention management and staff pay to make sure their guests are well looked after.
Rooms are spacious and ours had a small balcony as well with seating for afternoon tea. The hotel organises daily activities that are a great way to get an insight into the local culture, cooking, markets, etc. without the hassle of planning it out! One morning they evening organised a visit to the main street for Tak Bat (though they should do a better job of warning guests to not be intrusive like the many tourists who only want a good picture). The breakfast was easily the best we have had in a long time, served in a lovely spacious dining hall with additional lovely seating in the verandah outside. Lunches and dinners were equally delicious, we never regretted eating in. They also provide complimentary drop off and pick up to the town area which was great, as well as valuable suggestions on places to visit and eat. Look out for their 2-night/3-night offers - ours came with so many complimentary stuff thrown in we couldn't even use most of it during our stay! :) We can't wait to visit Luang Prabang again and stay at this wonderful place!
