This is a church at the union square and also has a museum that has the first printing press from all history of Romania. The current main part of town is Austro-Hungarian in its roots but Union square is the original Romanian part. You can walk from the Republic street to Union Square. The church is on a side of the square and the compound houses the museum too.

Outside the walls of Brasov, you can go to this part of the city, to see this church and First Romanian School museum, in the same court. Nice arhitecture and painting, a must see in Brasov.

Relaxing walk-in from black church till there. Interesting as is a so unique Orthodox Church, looks like a Disneyland castle....
Very important that at the side is the first Romanian school, operated by the church priests at the beginning

This church is an architectural feast for the eyes and be aware NO CAMERAs inside. Spend the time looking at the fine details with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque influences.

The church architecture is totally stunning. With the mountains behind and the oldest school of Romania next to it, it is a well worth it to visit. Inside pictures to be taken are not allowed, but it is a must visit if you are in Brasov
