Nowadays no different to the other buildings within the old town however, of particular interest is the arch entrance to the upper fortress, above the arch is sculptor of a winged lion. Worth a look during an exploration of the city.

One of many old buildings in the area and is the first thing that you will sea as you enter through the Sea Gate near to the plazza. Not huge building but does stand out from others.

Located in the piazza as soon as you enter through the Sea Gate, it’s the building attached to the Clock Tower.

Doesn’t seem that interesting at all but it’s part of the architecture that’s there so give it a quick glance, although I doubt you’d miss it anyway.

Just after entering the old city through the crowded Sea Gate, our tour guide pointed out this rather ordinary building to our tour group. We were concerned that if this building was worth a mention, then there couldn't be much worth seeing in the old city. We were later proven to be wrong in this assumption.
When our tour was over, we returned to the city square where this palace is located, by ourselves. The city square has much of interest in it. There are a number of shops, bars and outdoor cafes.
The palace itself is worth a quick glance but nothing more than that!
