Just returned from a weeks stay in this fabulous 2 bedroomed apartment on the outskirts of the old city of Dubrovnik. We were met at the airport by Lucsa who drove us to the apartment and handed over the keys.He was charming and knowledgeable. The apartment was spotlessly clean, 2 great bedrooms, both with air conditioning and TVs, Very well equipped kitchen & lounge again with ac and tv . The dishwasher and washing machine were a bonus and we used them both. The wifi didn't work initially but a call to Luksa soon sorted that out promptly. Towel and bed linen change mid week was also very welcome.
The view from the balcony was stunning, looking across to Locrum island and to the old city. Spectacular sunsets and ever changing views of the boats and yachts on the water.
The apartment is halfway between the 2 beaches of East/West and St Jacob. 2 sets of very steep steps down to St Jacob (and up on the way back!) but it is a lovely beach, less posy and noisy than East/West with a great bar and restaurant.
On a couple of occasions we got a taxi back up the hill after dinner in the old city rather than do the trudge but only 65 kuna so worth it!
Luksa drove us to the airport for our return flight, again no charge.
All in all we had a fantastic holiday in this deluxe apartment and I am still missing the view from the balcony!

We arrived at the apartment finding it with a little difficulty as the house numbers were not obvious.....to our travel weary eyes anyway. We had been promised off road parking but the only slot had been double booked so we parked in the street.
The apartment was breathtaking having been recently new built with very high standard finishes. There was wine in the fridge and fruit on the table. Both bedrooms were fabulous and it was decided by tossing a coin whether my brother and his wife had the sea facing bedroom or the bedroom with en suite bathroom. I won the toss and chose the sea facing bedroom which pleased Beverley as she wanted the en suite bathroom anyway..
The walk down to the old city is only two kms slightly downhill all the way (obviously slightly up coming back). The old city is fabulous with the most amazing buildings and city walls with lovely shops boutiques and restaurants. Although there was damage during the Bosnian war there was no evidence of it to be seen by us. I think all the bullet holes have been filled in. Our meals were normally fish meals and divine.
