Stayed here for 3 days with Thomson after a cruise. Was rated as a 4* however think it should be rated slightly lower. The room was on the small side for 2 people and didn't have a double bed but two singles placed together, causing the mattresses to slide apart any time the two of us got close. With only one wardrobe and two medium sized suitcases there wasn't any space and we had to leave them on the floor in the way giving us less space. We had a small balcony but couldn't sit out on and enjoy it as smoking was permitted in all rooms and being non smokers ourselves we didn't fancy sitting in other people smoke. The air con blew out warm air and no matter what we did it didn't get cool so left the balcony door open at night to get cool air. Food is not permitted in the room and no tea/coffee facilities were included either...however the stocked minibar was there but prices far inflamed to local prices.
We were half board basis so breakfast & evening meal were included. Like others on here already saying there is a no food/drink rule that states it isn't to leave the main dining room. During breakfast tea/coffee/juice is provided however come evening it is an extra you have to purchase INCLUDING water!!!! All meals self service and like anywhere else it may come out hot but by the time you get back to the seat it was warm. Plenty of choice.
Overall not a experience I wish to repeat, however was clean and staff were helpful, good if your only staying a couple of nights but wouldn't recommend for any longer.

Very good hotel, generally clean, however there were one or two instances of not cleaning thoroughly, rooms lacked cupboard space, but quite comfortable Check-in/Check out easy, reception staff really helpful, Pool area really good, good sized pool although a LITTLE on the cold side, indoor pool, gym, sauna, steam room, good quality pool towels as and when, Plenty of sun loungers with mattresses around all areas, snack bar, really really well set up
The Dinning Room for meals was quite bright and spacious, although quite big could come across as a bustling café. The food for us was quite enjoyable as we like to try local dishes/cuisine (when in Rome) Buffet style service but if you time it right can be fresh as the turnover was speedy, nothing was left out too long, good variety of everything,
However the quirky side to the Rules of the hotel, No Tea/Coffee making facilities in room, a big fat no no for me, all hotels regardless of status provides these as Standard, however they don't mind leaving minibar in room, they also don't allow irons in the room you have to pay for some one to do it for you, in fact all electrical devices belonging to Customers are Forbidden if you need to use the sockets, however there is always a way round this.
If like me you don't drink alcohol you cant have Tea/Coffee with or after your meal in the evening unless you paid for it, likewise if you wanted a glass of water you had to pay for it at a Stonking £3.00 for a smallish bottle which is quite ridiculous when the supermarket up the road charged a lot cheaper for a bigger bottle, even the wine they served was exactly the same in the supermarket £1.20, the hotel charged £5.00 per bottle
I think what throws people about some of the staff is that they can come across as brusque, we had a slight seating issue in the Dinning room with one of the staff, very minor, as he came across as exactly that (Brusque) but did not deter the person from being 100% professional and I think that may be the way the Croations could be generally
Would I go Back ....Yes I would, Would I go back to the same hotel ...yes I would

Room Tip: Apparently some rooms face the Pool/ Sea if you are on the upper floors,

The half-board food was good but hotter plates would help as the food is sometimes quite cool before you put it on the plate. Desserts are limited but it seems all hotels etc are the same - they just don't 'do' desserts, they also do not do tea/coffee in the evening..The room was great as was the posh power jet shower but the heated towel rail did not work hence quite a cold shower room it was mid-October- . The linen and towels were changed regularly but unfortunately the daily clean did not appear to include the sink and shower. For the first time ever we were NOT supplied with complimentary water you had to purchase it at £2.50 approx.per bottle but cheaper from outside hotel.I did feel that the 2hour dinner slot was a little inadequate causing quite a full house constantly, 3 hrs would ease the congestion. and you need to work hard to get a smile from the majority of the serving staff, tired? overworked? though it is self service. Reception and bar staff were exceptional and happy!

Spent a fortnight here in early September. The hotel was clean in both public areas and in our room and the staff courteous and very helpful. There was enough variation in the food so that we did not have to have the same meal twice all through our holiday. The storage in the room could have been more generous as we were a bit short of cupboard space. The balcony was also a bit of a squeeze but as we spent very little time there then it didn't spoil our stay. The two pools are quite large, the outdoor one filled with salt water and the indoor one with fresh, there are showers to rinse under after your swim. The pool bar for drinks and snacks was fast and the variety good. The walk to the beach was short and there is a lovely cafe/coffee bar right by the sea which we found to be be one of the cheapest and best in the area.

Room Tip: West facing rooms get a sea view. East facing rooms are good for people watchers as they overlook a busy but quiet street.

We are no smokers which is why we have reduced the rating, if we were smokers I would have said it was good.
The hotel is spotless, on the day we arrived the pool was having a thorough clean including all of the filtration system. Staff are helpful we especially appreciated Marija in the restaurant and Doris in the pool bar. There is a fantastic 'library' area with an excellent range of books in different languages, the largest range is in English.
There is a cafe/bar to the front of the hotel which is also a smoking room. There are automatic doors to the room which act as bellows and send smoke across the whole of the ground floor, the smell was overwhelming. My husband has had surgery so it really aggravated his breathing. I would totally recommend this hotel if you are a smoker or do not mind the smell, however if you have any kind of breathing issues then it is not for you.
