I have just returned from a wonderful stay with my family. The apartment was bright, modern and clean with all facilities required for a holiday stay. The lounge and bedrooms were nice and spacious though the kitchen was a little small for self catering for a group but was fine for simple breakfasts and snacks. One bathroom meant getting ready had to be organised - a feat in itself when travelling with teenagers but it was doable and the extra toilet certainly helps.
The biggest selling point of this apartment though was the fabulous location and stunning views over Locrum Island and Dubrovnik itself. Both Old Town and the beach were within walking distance though there is always a price to pay and in this case it was the 300 plus steps taken to reach the apartment. The price of a taxi is 60 knr to the old town so for a group of up to 4 who didnt want to be quite so active this is a good feasible option. We were 5 people and there were very few larger cabs available so we had no choice, however this in itself was a plus point as it certainly helped to reduce the usual holiday weight gain.
