“Wonderful place to stay in Dubrovnik- view was AMAZING!”

This review is well overdue - stayed 4 nights just outside of town 13 minute walk. View of Dubrovnik was stunning to eat breakfast in the morning and watch the town in the evening winding down. Cannot say enough how wonderful this place was. Clean, simple away from the crowds and a short walk to St. Jacobs beach where only the locals go. The owners were very nice and welcoming. Enjoyed every morning a walk to the bakery before anyone was awake. Felt like I had Dubrovnik to myself. The view was simply amazing and out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

“Better than expected”

From the pick up at the airport to the drop off back every aspect of the stay was sensational. I was traveling with my son and mentioned that we were here to train for a swim event. They made sure that we were well informed of our options. The accommodation is clean and practical with amazing views. We found it just the right distance from town and enjoyed the short walk to Old Town for meals. The family who own the building went out of their way to assist in making the stopover memorable. Absolute value for money. Enjoy a walk across the road down to the waterfront for a secluded swim.

“Great views, quiet location”

This apartment was clean & tidy with good beds. The bathroom and kitchen are basic but have what is needed.
The setting is a lovely old stone building overlooking the water with a vine covered terrace, straight out of a movie set.
Maja was a lovely host who waited up until midnight for our overdue flight and then offered us fresh lemonade on the terrace.
This unit is a 10-15 minute walk down to the old town and the other way is a 5-10 minute walk to the best swimming beach.
We just loved Dubrovnik and will definitely be back.

“Beautiful view and great location”

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. The location is great: it's just a few minutes' walk to Sveti Jakov Beach (turn left as you leave the house) or about 15 minutes' walk to Dubrovnik Old Town (turn right and walk along the coast road). You also have the option to go for a swim even closer by - just look out for the steps leading directly down to the rocks.

The apartment itself is comfortable and comprises a bedroom/seating area (with TV, not that we watched it), a kitchen area (with basic cooking facilities and fridge) and a small bathroom (with shower rather than bath). The best bit is the terrace: you share it with the apartment next door, but it's divided down the middle to give privacy. The views across the sea to Lokrum and Dubrovnik Old Town are stunning, particularly at sunset.

The only reason for a four-star rating rather than five is that you are in close proximity to the apartment next door, so you may get some noise. We didn't hear a sound out of the girls who were there when we first arrived, but we did have quite a disturbed night when some later guests came back from an night out and talked loudly and played music outside on the terrace until late. However, to be fair they did stop at once when we asked them to!

Maja, the owner, is lovely and helpful. She's happy to arrange airport transfers for you and answer any questions, and when we arrived at the house, she kindly brought us both a very welcome cold beer, which got the holiday off to an excellent start. We would definitely be happy to stay here again.

“An Exceptional Place”

Really pleasant and helpful host
A majestic view, a gorgeous terrace, the feel of a villa
Not too far from the city, with a nice, less crowded beach in the opposite direction
The air conditioning saved our lives
