Piazza Heritage is exceptional and highly recommend it. The hotel is in the old town and it very centrally located. Easy walk to the Diocletian palace and right on the main plaza. The hotel is a UNESCO listed building and they have renovated two levels for the hotel, the luxury is felt as soon as you walk into the reception area.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and very elegant. Great sized room and bed. We found it very comfortable.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. On our check out, a golf buggy was arranged to take us to our rental car just on the edge of town.
Loved Split and our stay at the Piazza Heritage.

Hotel is expensive but exceeded all of our expectations. The staff was wonderful, as was the service at the included breakfast. The hotel is within the old city, and as a result, within the pedestrian zone. However, upon contacting them ahead of our arrival, met us just outside the pedestrian zone with a golf cart to transport us and our luggage to the hotel. They were even kind enough to follow us to the nearby car rental agency so that we may drop off our rental before transporting us to the hotel. The hotel only has 10 rooms, but the result is that you feel like you're at an exclusive location. The staff were warm and gracious, and the room was spacious with an excellent view of the square. Most importantly, the bed and the environmental controls in the room allowed for a very comfortable stay.
As for the location, it is so central in the old city that upon wandering, we always seemed to walk upon the hotel. We would highly recommend any stay in Split involve this hotel, if you don't mind the slightly steep price.

The best features of this hotel are the amazing location just steps away from anywhere in the center and the plush, decorated rooms. We were greeted warmly and were pleased with the sanctuary of luxury in the room contrasted with the ancient city streets just outside the walls. The views overlooking the plaza were great.

The only detracting factors are its unorthodox arrangement for reception on the 2nd floor up some stairs and behind a 2nd door which makes finding it the first time less than ideal and the minimal breakfast situation worked out with the adjacent restaurant. We didn't have time for a visit to the gym so it didn't bother us, but I don't believe they have an exercise room either.

Overall we would revisit if looking for a near perfect tourist oasis in the city for a short stay.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is small but lovely. It is superbly located on a small square in the old city and close to the promenade. The rooms were lovely. The towels were amazing- had to add that. I was blown away by how soft they were. The breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was delicious. And the staff at the hotel-Josifa and Mira-the nicest, most welcoming, helpful ladies. Bravo.

From the time I made the booking this Hotel made everything easy. They stayed in contact with information and updates, picked us up and parked our car. Checked us in seamlessly and gave us every bit of information we needed to enjoy Split. They were friendly and kind as well as informative. The room, our view and the Hotel were beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic and the location perfect. we went from morning to night in the best part of town including jazz at night only a few hundred yards from the front door. You could not be better cared for or more comfortable.
