Landed here after long trip from california. Stayed on the 3rd floor. Staff was so kind. Husband's 60th birthday and we were there for 2 days before leaving on a sailboat. Staff brought out specialty birthday cake at breakfast. Rooms small but clean. Bathrooms worked well. Had incredible view onto the square.

Room tip: higher floors good view of plaza, other rooms have a bigger sitting space. trade off

This place was awesome! They have a restaurant attached and the food was exceptional.

Cute little alcove that you have to duck to get in - there is another way but this is awesome!

Inside the palace and they have music and everything!

First of all I'd like to thank Mile and the staff for the privilege of staying in this beautiful location. From the moment we arrived until literally the minute we left I felt as though I was at home.
I was with a group of friends and needed 3 rooms for one night. We ended up staying for three and after touring the surrounding countries had to come back for a fourth.
You won't be disappointed, and more than likely, you'll be extremely pleased.
I never write reviews but I must say, it would be a sin to maintain that position given our experience.
Last thing. Go to the restaurant Tifani located in the bottom of the hotel! As it may be difficult to obtain room reservations during the peak season, insist on going to the hotel for at least a meal. Don't pass up a chance to have wonderfully prepared authentic meals at a very reasonable price. The chef is a local with over 15yrs of experience and prepared the best goulash all in our party had ever eaten.
Thank you all again for the experience and generosity!

We had 3 couples that just walked in off the street at 1030 PM looking for a deal...they luckily had 3 rooms available. The front desk gentlemen went out of his way to make us feel welcome and quoted us a price cheaper that we saw online. He asked about the luggage and if we had a car, as parking rates are through the roof and he didn't want us to pay for parking. We did have a car. The front desk gentlemen calls for help and a very nice man comes and says he will bring the car up for us and park it in the free spots they have if we give him an idea where the car is. Its half a mile away. He brings the car right next to the front door, helps us unload the car(we packed for 10 days) and brings our bags to the room. Turns out the man that brought up the car helped us unload the car and bring bags to the room is the owner of the hotel....nicest guy ever. Everyone of their staff made us feel like family. You cannot stay at a better place... you absolutely have to try and get into this hotel. I promise, you will not have a better stay in Split at 10 times the price

Was greeted with such warmth and smiles. The manager was eating dinner and let us try some of his food. Was so accommodating. Location is right dab in the middle of everything. The only downfall was that they wouldn’t turn on ac and it was 77 degrees during the day. Not that we were in the hotel during the day but if we had to stop by it would be hot and humid. You slept with the windows open and the hotel is right near the center where there is live music, church bells and dump trucks that come at 4-5am. So loud!!! So very hard to sleep.
