Check beach conditions, most beaches have heavy surf. Food and ice cream on-site and chair and umbrella rentals available

Great beach to ride bike to. Large, clean and not too crowded. Waves are great for my 9 and 10 year old to enjoy. Favorite of the Island, so far.

Spent two great days here. Beach was wide open and never too crowded. Food at the shack and food trucks was really good. It is a bit of a walk to/from the beach so have the kids hit the restrooms before walking down. Surf was light compared to Delaware/MD beaches. Plenty of parking. 9 year old's favorite beach.

we met up with some friends here. the public transit called The Wave can take you from Nantucket town to the beach & back, so save some money. ($2 one way on the wave or $25 uber.) anyway, there was a little concession snack building but it just seemed to have hotdogs & basic stuff. you're better off bringing your own food along.

My family all enjoyed this beach. If you don't have a car, you can take the local
bus or use Uber. There is a snack bar as well as restrooms so you can spend
the day.
