“Special place for special occasions”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 April 2012

I'm sure many folks go there more frequently than I have, but both times it was during the holiday season, and the place was quickly packed. I would recommend getting reservations. The parking outside is often tight, and we had to have them valet park one time for us. The interior is beautifully decorated, this is definitely a place well suited for a romantic dinner for two. Service was adequate, well polished, but not superb due to the crowds during the holidays. The cuisine/preparation and presentation were top notch. If you want a souffle you have to order it when you place your dinner order to allow enough time for the chef to make it. It is well worth the wait, the souffle came out perfectly. So both times we went, we were happy with the experience and will likely return in the near future.

“Great Place for Date”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 March 2012

I went here with my girlfriend and it was an enjoyable time. The wine is reasonably prices and entrees are filling. I'm not too familiar with the French terms, but I recommend their Coffee for desert. It is a Colmbian blend with Congnac, bitter but tasty.

Total price was ~125 for App, 2 entrees, 2 desserts and wine.

I recommend this restaurant for date night, and families. The staff are welcoming and there is enough space that guests don't feel cramped.

One of our favorites! Food is excellent and so is the service. We love going there on date night and they also have a wonderful Sunday brunch.

“Traditional French place, in a good way”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2012

Like Osteria 177 for Italian, this place is the real deal for French. Not terribly creative or modern, but classic, classy, and professional without pretense.

“One of our favorites”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2012

We love visiting Les Folies, which is always consistent with both friendly service and excellent food. The owner, Alain (a real, live Frenchman), can often be seen visiting tables, lunch or dinner - just to say hi and make sure all is well. Sunday brunches are a great deal, featuring much of the lunch menu and including a glass of champagne and dessert. Desserts are always fantastic (they're French!). Our favorite is the Veal piccata and the baked mussels appetizer is NOT to be missed!
