Small park frequented by a large number of local fishermen, limited parking. A paddle board, kayak rental available on weekends. Go early as park rangers close the parking lot entrance during busy weekends. Sign says "no swimming or wading" but at least 30 locals in the water when I was there.

We stopped by Royal Farms in Eastport and picked up a couple of chicken dinner meals with fixings. We then went to the park and laid out a blanket and enjoyed the afternoon talking and watching the boats of the Severn River. There are both portable bathrooms in the parking lot and inside bathrooms in the rangers office. The park is small and a little difficult to get to but it's rarely crowded which is a major plus. It is family friendly and if you fish there is a fishing pier at the end of the parking lot.

Clean park for 24/7 free fishing on the pier (only free on the pier). Great for catching white perch, croaker, eel, and sometimes rockfish!
