Another one of the many FREE things to do in/near DC. parking is a bit of a challenge but otherwise a great place to see. Lots of antique, intricate ship models, lots of history and lots to see. Allow enough time to see everything. They have an elevator and are handicap accessible.

What a treat. Our tour guide was the Director of Admissions for the Academy. He was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

I went to college near West Point so I was impressed to find a lot of similarities in how both institutions view freshman and how hard their admission into the school is. I enjoyed hearing the story about how they got their mascot and the ritual plebes go through at the end of their first year. I would have loved to learn more about a day in the life of a student from start to finish. Overall a lot of information in a short amount of time!

I really enjoyed our tour of the Naval Academy. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. Both of her sons had graduated from the Academy and she was full of interesting stories.

Great few hours in town. What a taste of history. Be sure and catch the noon formation. The chapel and John Paul Jones crypt was very cool as well.
