A better than average breakfast menu. Enjoyed the red flannel hash and the poached eggs were done perfectly. Home made bread is definitely a plus for their very good wheat toast. Service was good. The only mediocre flavor was the coffee.

This is a small family run restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. We stop there for breakfast on each trip to Rangeley during the summer. Home made breads are great including the raisin bread and cinnamon apple. Nothing fancy, but tasty and filling. Sure, service can be slow when they're busy, but what can you expect? During school season, the college students apparently fill the place up. Friendly service is what you get; fancy it's not. Give it a try.

A very good place for breakfast and the wait staff is always friendly however the service is sometimes slow. Still worth a try and we will certainly be back.

The breakfast at The Center Street Cafe was a good value. We enjoyed the "Classic Benny," (eggs Benedict), and a garden omelette, both of which were competent, but not outstanding. The hash browns were a bit under-cooked, but the homemade bread was excellent, although we did had to ask for it a second time. The only complaint is that the restaurant is clearly under-staffed. It was mid-morning, on a Friday, and the restaurant was fairly crowded, but there appeared to be only two waitresses working the entire floor. They did their best to accommodate everyone, but it was just too much ground to cover. Several items were forgotten, and we waited a very long time for the check. Then, we had to wait again at the front desk to pay. Otherwise, it was a good breakfast.

there were five adults and 3 kids in my party, and we could barely fit in the place. its very small but the food is good. my sister in law ordered a breakfast sandwich and they brought it out to us burnt. they made her a new one, but come on now. I had corned beef, which was amazing. the service is good. prices are good.
