That cold night our walk ended near Izumi, and we dropped in willing to eat something hot.
In response to our request to find a table the apathetic waiter asked if we booked, and having heard «no» had merely... shrugged his shoulders silently!
The cafe was half empty, with some tables reserved, the others free, and the outdoor terrace almost empty. But the waiter made no efforts to accommodate us - neither suggested a terrace or a free table, nor limited our time at a reserved table, as some other places would. After all, it’s just a sushi-bar, not a Michelin restaurant, no one sits here for hours! Even a simple word of polite apology would actually do.
We used to be permanent customers. No longer coming back.
Enjoyed the nearby Sushia on Moskovskaya Street instead.
