We loved going there for concerts last July. The interior is nice and its centrally located. watch out for gypsy beggars and be careful with your belongings

This is my favourite concert hall anywhere in the world. Apart from being an architectural treasure, there isn't a bad seat anywhere. And it is so intimate, it's like having an orchestra in your front room. And a very good orchestra, at that. Just unmissable.

Recently renovated, this is the most important concert hall in Bucharest. If you like classical music, you won't be disappointed. Also nice to visit just because it's a national landmark in Romania.

To enjoy this site you shoud come to a concert, the building was constructed in eary 1900 as the city concert hall, money was colected by public donations and even this days after 100 years the saying : give a Leu for the Ateneu is well know. The building si next to Hilton Hotel on calea Victoriei.
