I loved the apartment that supposedly was shared between three rooms but I had it all for myself :) The bathrooms are shared, as well as the living room and the kitchen. You can find useful things everywhere, like iron, hair drier, glasses for a late night wine with friends and the kitchen or the living room was perfect for a quiet chit chat. The room was clean, nothing fancy, as said but very artistry decorated. The whole ambience is like a big mansion of an artist, with paintings, sculptures which is nice.
Try to avoid it though in autumn and spring as the building is connected to the central heating system of the city which will provide heat only if the average temperature is below 10 degrees for 3 days in a row.
I was in mid October and it was cold. They did have a mini heater in the room but didnt help much as the rooms are big and tall and the windows are not properly isolated.
Location is perfect for travelers, absolutely gorgeous, dont miss the book and fruits market in the weekend, you will have the occasion of taking beautiful picture, as well as a walk in the park during the sunny afternoons when seniors gather to play competing games of chess and bands are playing.
Another downside is the fact that they dont take credit cards and instead of an english speaking receptions, its the guard who will not know to guide you unless you speak Bulgarian.
