We had a very enjoyable lunch here after an initial glitch where we were told to go and take a seat and someone would be with us shortly to take our order (this is their restaurant not the Hula Bar just to clarify). In all fairness this was around 11.30(ish)am and they were setting up for their buffet lunch but it would have been better to know that we should just order drinks rather than sitting admiring the (very nice) view and enjoying the (again - very nice) ocean breeze coming in to where we sat rather than waiting for someone that simply didn't front after a wait of around half an hour. (In fairness possibly a few minutes less but it seemed a long time). Anyway - not such an optimal start and we finally went to the bar and ordered drinks and then it all went like clockwork. Drinks arrived (I enjoyed their pina colada - cliche I know, but very refreshing) and we shared a seafood platter. While I don't want to rave about their seafood platter and make out like it was the 'best thing ever' it was pretty good. $49.00 and there was border line to enough food to defeat us and none of it was bad. Most of it was pretty good in fact. (Don't go by the picture I intend to attach - there was stuff 'hiding' behind the glass in the center - which, as a - by the way, had a heap more shrimp in it than it looks like in it).
Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I'd happily return to do a rerun (minus the wait time for initial service).
