Wonderful place for a stroll on a sunny day. An extremely relaxing and lovely park to spend a quiet afternoon away from the crowds.

Lovely walk along the river - so much greenery. Took the city bus through perhaps not the nicest areas of Montevideo to arrive at this oasis. The area also includes the botanical gardens and the rosedal. It is such a wonderful way to spend a sunny afternoon. Highly recommend.

I regret not have visited this place before, after 6 years living in the city we have decided to tour Montevideo by bus, what an excelent idea. The selected day was not the greatest but getting to Prado, we could forget all about the wind and the coldness and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea at Hotel do Prado!

Traditional place for cattle market.
Now it hosts a (?) yearly fair for agriculture and livestock exposition and trade.
Place is nice, have a lot of woods, and quite natural.
A nice spot in Montevideo downtown.
I actually don't know wha kind of other uses they may make of the place.
I've been there just for the show
