we stayed here several times before and as always it was a pleasure. there are not many places where service stays the same or even better after years but carlos' janaxpacha is one of them. this time we passed new year with him with the family, rooms where clean as always and breakfast delicious. 100% recommandable if you want the best host in cusco, can't say more, go and see it on your own!

Lucy and Carlo went out of their way to make sure our Peru experience was the best it could be. Couldn’t have asked for a better set of hosts. Room was clean. Kitchen equipped. Property well kept. It’s a good decision to stay here.

A fabulous hostel. Great location, 200m from the town plaza.
Carlos couldn't do enough for his guests.
Excellent and powerful wi fi connection in rooms.
Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms.
This is where you want to stay!

We spend two non consecutive nights at Janaxpacha and it was every thing we needed in Ollantaytambo and more. Carlo and Beto are great guys who will do everything to make you feel at home. The place is a small lovely house with wood floors and narrow staircases, you can use the kitchen and breakfast includes French’s press coffee and perfect scrambled eggs.

Accomodation was average. Very tiny room but on the other hand cosy. Unfortunately the place, where hostal stands, is very noisy due to proximity of main street. Staff was fine. Breakfast could be better-no choice, only eggs. It was rural accomodation, which shouldn't cost 30 USD/night.
