This hotel was an unexpected treasure on our vacation in Peru. It is a beautiful place, probably nicer than many hotels in the U.S. The location is great, close to the train station for that early morning trip to Agua Calientes (or to KM 104 for the hike like we did) and also close to town.
The room was great. It was one of the few rooms that had multiple 110 outlets. There was wi-fi but it as spotty at best. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom (and shower) were great. There was a cute balcony room and reading room just steps from our room.
The complimentary breakfast was varied and plentiful. It was open early so that you can eat before heading off to the train station. We looked at the restaurant menu for dinner but the prices were a bit high relative to town so we ended up eating there.More
