Nice elegant building, very private for businessmen with nice decoration, central location, good parking at arrival and in the hotel, very good attention, very good restaurant and bars, very comftable rooms.

Has exactly the adecuate meals and room service.

Are very attendants and with details like giving chocolates as present.

Room Tip: Quiet floors, good air, comftable rooms with inca decorations, bars, sitting rooms and restaurants with excellent service

I stayed at the hotel for 1 week for business and enjoyed the stay. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful with anything I needed. Rooms are classic styling, very large and clean. It is located in a very nice part of Lima.

this used to be a sofitel hotel , it's a larger property. Almost no one speaks english but service is nice. It's kind of anonymous. Breakfast does not really impress and is quite slow. There is not really a concierge and requests get forgotten.
Don't ask them to order you a taxi for the airport because you end up with a bill of 70 use for something that usually costs 12 uff (with easy taxi) . It's nice to help some friends but you should tell your customers the different options...
Area is nice , just behind the golf course. I would say it's more a business and then a leisure hotel.

Room Tip: avoid the one next to elevator..

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment and we are sorry to hear there were some problems especially a confusion with the charge of the drop off service. Our pick up and drop off rates are similar to those of other hotels in the area who also work with luxury cars. Best regards,

We decided to stay at the Royal Park based on location and a decent price in Lima compared to the larger chains. The hotel was very clean, although the rooms felt muggy, but I hear that is the norm in Lima. The service was great in the hotel except in the restaurant. The restaurant moves in one speed, super slow motion. Plan on 30-40 minutes at least for breakfast. The food is good and plentiful. The hotel is half a block away from a golf course that has a 2.3mile sidewalk that runs around it. You will not be alone running, anytime after 4:30 in the morning. It is also about 1.3 miles away from running along the coast line on a popular running trail.

Firstly the Good. This is a boutique hotel in a safe part of Lima, the rooms are spacious, the food is good and the WiFi is free. The location in San Isidro is a little boring, with not much around. I spent a week here and in the course of my time, visited 2 other hotels - the Hilton and The Westin in Miraflores. These were undoubtedly better located, more modern and with more facilities. According to a previous French reviewer, the rooms are suitable for an 85 year old. I would not go this far but the rooms could do with freshening up a little as they are not particularly modern but comfortable nonetheless and the bathroom in particular was circa 1990 US style. This leads me to the misleading section. This was once a Sofitel and indeed there are plenty of advertised references to it being one. It used to be one, and I can see why they decided it was probably not worth the investment to bring it up to their modern standards. There are a couple of other things that are potentially misleading and worth noting. The Health Club is anything but. It consists of a small room with 1 bike, 1 treadmill (with a fault) 1 climber and some weights. If there is more than one person in here it could feel a little crowded and the equipment is home gym standard. The swimming pool is totally misleading. It measures around 5 x 2m and is unsuitable for swimming for any kind of exercise. It is an outdoor plunge pool, so as it was Winter I was told it would be too cold anyway. There is also the 10% service charge that is added to your bill at the end. To be fair it is located in the small print, but for a potentially significant amount at the end of your stay, the print is a bit too small! All the bills you sign also have a line to add a tip, which is also slightly misleading as you being charged for that anyway. Finally, the staff. All very helpful and willing, with a great service attitude and this stood out for this hotel. A small word of warning if your Spanish is non existent or very poor as all but the front desk spoke no English and this can make for amusing/interesting experiences with room service, bar, breakfast and housekeeping. My truly honest thoughts are that the Royal Park is perfectly good as a 4 star plus hotel but if I were to visit Lima again, I am sure I would check the availability of the better hotels in Miraflores first.
