“Great place in Miraflores. A bit too executive!”
Reviewed 13 February 2012

Stayed here for work and, if you're in Lima just for that, then it's a good hotel.
PROS: just one block from the BEST sushi in town (EDO) and a nice supermarket (vivanda).
CONS: terrible WIFI! and the feel and distribution of the hotel is a bit too executive and cold for my taste.

This hotel is conveniently located in Miraflores, a safe an attractive part of Lima near the water. The rooms are clean and comfortable and everyone is very helpful. You get a nice breakfast every morning with an assortment of fruit, cheese, eggs, breads, and more. A rooftop lounge has a wide view of the city and serves great pisco sours. Little snacks and chocolates are brought to your room in the afternoon, the front desk people aim to please, and you can store your belongings there safely if you leave for any side trips, such as to the Sacred Valley. There are also computers and Internet for guests. The only thing I wished for was more drawer space for my clothing. I did have to ask for more wash cloths and purified water, which is something I had to do in most other Peruvian hotels as well.

Room Tip: The back of the hotel may be quieter, as are the higher floors. It is on a busy street.

This hotel is very nice. The rooms are the nicest we stayed in in Peru. We liked that the hotel offers its own private car service to drive you around so you don't have to worry about taxis. We also liked the $15 1-hour massage service it offers. Hot water for sure. Want 3 beds in one room? No problem, and still not cramped.

While we only stayed 1 night at qp Hotels, we enjoyed our stay. First of all, we found the staff helpful and efficient. The room had all the usual amenities and was decently sized, clean and nice, as was the bathroom. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet. While we only stayed in Lima for one night and didn't explore the city, the hotel is located in a safe part of the city, and we were able to walk around at night to find a place for dinner without feeling unsafe. I'd recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed at QP Hotels for 2 nights and it was our first time in Lima. When we tried to check in it was around lunch time and the staff there looked at us like we were bothering him. He didn't even say Hello and just told us that the room wasn't ready and we had to come back in two hours. OK That was fine. So we came back after two hours and got the room. It was Superior Suite. The room is quite big and we were happy with it.

Then we wanted to go to Larcomar Shopping Mall. I know that it's not far from the hotel and other members on tripadvisor suggested we should pay around 5 Soles for a taxi. So I asked the same guy which I found out later that his name is Jonathan to get a taxi for us. He told us that we have to pay 35 soles. C'mon 35 soles for such a short distance? I was very disappointed and angry then. I told him I couldn't understand how he managed to have an excellent rating on Tripadvisor (which showing at the hotel lobby) He then told the concierge to get a taxi on the street for us and we paid only 5 soles. This staff Jonathan never spoke to me again but was extremely nice and friendly to my friend which was a bit too late after I gave out.

I would recommend you to stay in this hotel only if you don't care how bad the service can be. The woman who responsible for breakfast was the same and she couldn't be more sour. The sleeping quality wasn't that great because you can hear all the noise from street at night loud and clear especially when the car alarm goes off every five minutes.

Room Tip: Try to get the high floor if possible. We were on the 4th floor and it was very noisy at night.
