My family and I, a party of 6, stayed in the Colonial House for 4 days. It was a wonderful visit. The house is perfect for a large group. It is very spacious with a large kitchen and living room, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and an extra cot in the upstairs space. It comes complete with a stocked kitchen, wifi and a working chimney.
The interior of the house is beautiful. I felt immediately at home. I have nothing negative to say about this place. It is a great find!
Enjoyed our stay very much!!!. This place in Cusco is a must if you are spending a few days there. This is my fifth time in Cuzco, and by far the best. This apartment is spacious and beautiful; cleanly and nicely decorated (Owner has been careful to pay attention to all the details) with modern baths, and a well equipped kitchen, good WIFI (better than Lima), 3 spacious bedrooms with nice bedding. Only a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas (Historic District), close to shopping, including the San Pedro market, a freshly baked bread stores, pharmacies, restaurants, grocery store, etc..
Marita, the owner, was very gracious and arranged a city tour, all our arrangements to Machu Picchu, and a tour of the Sacred Valley that included a homemade lunch at her home. That lunch may have been the best of the many great meals we had in Peru, and it was an unexpected added bonus to our vacation, as it showed my kids and I, on the everyday local customs (wood oven and cooking), and food preparations . I would definitely recommend this place and will be back at some point.
Spent three nights with family after our trip to Machu Picchu. House was perfect for us. Manager Carina met us about 10 p.m. at bus (continuation of our train ride) with two taxis for our party of six. After she showed us the basics of the house, she took two of us down the street to buy water and "starter" provisions for the morning. Although we had no call to contact her further (the owners were out of town), it was clear from comments in the guest book that she would have been most helpful had we needed her. The location was perfect for our various explorations of Cusco. The furnishings were comfortable and the living spaces welcoming, especially when the two balcony doors could be opened. There was street noise and on our final night the music and fireworks from a festival lasted into the early morning. But none of us were too put off by that (just a bit bleary-eyed). And we all agreed that we could not imagine accommodations that would have better met our needs.

Our family of 8 from 16 months to 61 years old were very comfortable in this historic home. We had everything we needed to cook meals. We had to supplement the hot water for dish washing as it wasn't hot enough from the tap--but we had hot water for showers. Also, there is no dryer for washing clothes, so you have to allow enough time for the clothes to air dry. The location was great--within walking distance to the squares in Cusco. We loved the narrow cobbled stone street and had no issues with buses and cars driving by. The real bonus was Carina who managed the house--she really took care of us and became a friend. The owners were also good to work with. We wished we had stayed longer here in Cusco.
