It is a MUST DO. Take your time, both at day time and night time. The Plaza de Armas is awesome, and the Catedral has the remains of Francisco Pizarro. Quite impresive.
Walk the place, enjoy the people, smell the air.

“Very interesting, some amazing art and architecture.”

Don't go with a tour group, if you want to know stuff, just latch on to one of the large groups inside, or pay one of the locals to take your through.

“Great piece of history”

Definately worth the walk-through the cathedral. It costs 10 sols per person to get into the cathedral. It is a quick tour, but beautiful to see.

“Amazing history, and not behind glass.”

Look for the painting documenting the great earthquake, as well as the last supper Cuy painting. This was a pleasant suprise which we hadn't originally planned to walk through, but are now very glad that we did.
