The only reason for my four star review, was because I thought our room was a bit small. Other than that, this hotel was fantastic. The staff was exceptional. Welcoming and friendly the moment we walked in. The hotel is near the main square and Cusco and near several restaurants and attractions. They also offer free breakfast, have room service and a restaurant on site. There not a lot of rooms in the hotel, so it feels very quaint and charming. The rooms were small but were well appointed with amenities ( robes, towel warmer, mini bar etc). I may look into another hotel if we return to Cusco, due to the room size but this hotel may win out because of the awesome staff!

Room tip: Ask for a room with a window. Ours only looked out into the hall, so it made the smaller room feel even more cozy.

Regarding your opinion on the size of your room is respected but being a mansion of the sixteenth century the rooms have different sizes but each of the rooms provide the comfort you need during your stay.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Cusco. Just blocks form the main square. Historic building with elegant rooms. We stayed in this hotel two days before and two days after our Inca Trail trek. What a wonderful place to to return to and relax. The staff is very attentive making you feel so welcomed. Breakfast was fantastic.

We stayed in this fine hotel after a visiting the Sacred Valley. Our stay was two nights and when we checked in the staff informed us that they had moved us into one of the Suites. Our suite had a 17th century painting just inside the foyer. This hotel is a museum with several hundred pieces of art some as old as the 16th century. The staff were as professional as anywhere I have ever been. Thanks for the hot tub guys ! This is a very short walk from several other historical attractions in the city center.

WOW, this is a beautiful 5 star hotel in the heart of Cusco! History, elegance, and comfort blocks away from the town square. Amenities include room pumped oxygen, coco leaf tea, granite bath with jacuzzi tub, high ceilings, chandeliers, outdoor courtyards, Stone archways, and colonial art. Especially fun to consider that 16th and 17th century political and religious royalty resided here. We enjoyed concluding our day with an infused pico drink recommended by the kind, knowledgeable, and personable bar manager, Irvin. And finally, breakfast was so fantastic. Multiple homemade jams, fresh bread, made to order eggs, fresh fruit, meats, and cheeses. Thanks to Adolfo for excellent service and warm smile.

Such a charming, cozy, well-appointed hotel. The hotel is a perfect location not far from the main sights. The property is beautifully designed and decorated, rooms are comfortable with everything you need plus more, the food is tasty but the single best part is the staff. They are warm, friendly, welcoming, attentive and are genuinely happy to help. A special thanks to Guido who was so welcoming and helpful, always checking on us.
