I stay in a lot of "vanilla" hotels with no personality but this one is a slice of heaven. Birds, trees and flowers fill the courtyard with lush greens and color making working from my room a pleasure. The walls are made of white sillar from local volcanic rock which gives the city its nickname: The White City. I found my stay here to be quite relaxing, the atmosphere is so unique and lovely that I feel like I discovered a small secret, a welcoming contrast from generic big-chain hotels.

We felt like we were in a garden retreat, with a nice patio room overlooking the back yard. There were flowers, flowering and fruit trees and lush lawn. Our walk to the historic old town center was about ten minutes, with a nice walk by the park. Taxis are an inexpensive way to go everywhere. We had access to the onsite restaurant as well as fine restaurant suggestions from our host and hostess. Jean-Louis and his wife suggested tours and things to do and see. Our included breakfast was excellent with Maria asking how we wanted our eggs! Our hotel was also very secure and laid back for a wonderful retreat after a busy day of touring. We hope to go back next year!

Room Tip: I believe all rooms have a patio or balcony/terrace!

The location of this hotel is so peaceful with an inner courtyard./garden. It was very welcoming and charming. Staff was very helpful. Walk to the center of town is possible or a reasonable taxi ride. Aerquipa is a wonderful place to visit.

This is lovely retreat within a lovely city. The interior is stylish. The rooms are comfortable. The wifi works generally. The breakfast is standard. The staff are attentive and caring. But it is the well-maintained gardens back and front that make Villa Elisa a winner. Most of the rooms overlook the splendid back garden. And then location. IIt is in a swanky suburban areas and just a ten minute walk to the edge of downtown.

Room Tip: ground floor rooms
