We went to Sakura with high expectations given the reviews here. We are from Portland Oregon where Sushi is pretty good. However, for ~USD$55 we had one rainbow roll, 1 nigiri, 1/2 sashimi, 1 tempura (mostly fried potatoes in batter),1 beer and two juices! The fish was obviously thawed, the rice was either defrosted, or badly cooked. The amount of rice to actual fish ration as ~80% to 20% in other words hardly any fish! The owner made zero effort to connect with his two tables worth of clients. When his sushi cook dropped the paper order from another client onto our food their was little effort made to apologize or to offer to replace our food. All in all, what I recommend anyone do is to find fresh seafood at Supermaxi, cook their own fresh rice (as it should be), buy a couple of beers, invite some friends over and have a better experience than this outrageously overpriced nonsense they are trying to pass off as Sushi. I feel bad for Cuencanos who have nothing better to compare this sad attempt.
