“Really and truly, your home away from home while In Santiago”
Reviewed 27 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

This review will seem overly effusive, but it should be taken in all earnestness as an objective review of my stay. When I search for a place to stay for business or pleasure, I depend on reviews to be concise, straightforward and honest. As a female traveler with different needs from my male counterpart, I use reviews to help cut through the fluff and make good decisions. Disclaimers over..

From soup to nuts (http://www.wisegeek.com/what-does-soup-to-nuts-mean.htm), Maurizio's place is everything the savvy traveler needs. His place is is on the small side but is typical of apartments in this beautiful area and in Chile period. His place reminds me of fancy hotel rooms I stayed in around Zurich: tiny and awesome with everything I needed!

Maurizo's PRE-CARE is the most impressive part of staying with him. He is on point, active and involved. Though Maurizio does not live in Chile, you do not feel as if you are left in a lurch. He is highly responsive and we kept in contact via Whatapp with ease. Immediately after payment, you are given thorough instructions of how to move around, find and enjoy your stay. His clean, well prepared apartment is full of brochures and directions, as well as a BIP transit card that helps you use the subway to get from cool place to other cool place effortlessly. There is a re-loadable mobile phone at the residence that is so helpful when you're ordering pizza on those days you want to chill and stay at the apartment.

Monica, his partner and friend is more than available for the silliest to most serious questions and is easily accessible. Bottled water and fresh Chilean fruit awaited us when we arrived. The small things are what make staying at Maury's place so highly recommended. We will stay no where else when we return, hopefully this year...

Be aware: book early, this man's place is constantly busy, but the cleaning crew make sure it doesn't FEEL as if the place has been full of previous guests.

Enjoy your stay as its hard not to at Casa de Maurizio de Sanitago Chile!

“would stay here again in a heartbeat”
Reviewed 26 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

This is a great apartment in a safe central location. Came well stocked with spices and kitchen utensils and the fresh fruit and water in the fridge was greatly appreciated. Overlooks the park in a quiet neighbourhood

“Good Place to stay”
Reviewed 19 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

We stayed there from dec-26 to jan 5th.
The place was clean and well organized. Mauricio and Monica provided us a pre-payed cell phone as well as a public transportation card and both help us a lot in Santiago.
The apartment is very well located near subway stations, bars restaurants, supermarkts...
Thanks Mauricio and Monica.

I really recommend this property to all travelers.

“Great Experience”
Reviewed 8 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Mauricio and Monica gave us a great stay, with fast and friendly service whenever we need. The apartment is great, comfortable, everything works perfectly, the size is great for two people. The location is certainly the best choice in Santiago, 'cause all the good restaurants and attractions are close by foot or just a few subway stops away, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. The city center is also very near the apartment, only three stations away. Make your reservation with no fear;)

“Modern, secure apt. with an amazing view!”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maury's place in Providencia. First of all, the location was excellent - just a block off a main bus and metro line, with grocery stores and restaurants close by, but on a (mostly) quiet street. The apartment was exactly as advertised: modern, a bit small, but with a wonderful kitchen, full size refrigerator, clean updated bath, and a VERY comfortable queen bed. Loved the balcony, especially relaxing with a cup of coffee (provided) in the morning taking in the beautiful view of Cerro San Cristobal. For an even more breathtaking views, go up to the roof and see the mountains surrounding the city, while dipping your feet in the pool! Everything was spotlessly clean, and Maury and his assistant Monica went out of their way to make certain that our stay was optimum, such as providing a local cell phone for our use, as well as a BIP card for transportation (you just have to load each). Maury even helped us find a RARE place to cash our traveler's checks! (Note from two dinosaurs: don't bother with traveler's checks - nobody uses them anymore!) Also loved the little homey touches, like a bowl of fruit greeting us and many books (cataloged by Sp/French/Eng) to enjoy if you just want to lie low for a while. The only little drawback was that there was construction next door, but even that didn't begin until after 9 a.m. Overall, an excellent place to stay, central to many activities, and wonderfully nice hosts to make your stay enjoyable. Amar a Chile!
