GAM is incredible. I go here primarily forthe theater, but this is a comprehensive cultural megaplex with dance, music, classes , art exhibits. You can´t beat the theater here and even if you don´t speak SPanish you can enjoy the cafe, the art exhibits, a wine shop and bookstore. You can marvel at this cultural mecca.

If you plan to visit Santiago must go to Gaberiela Mistral Cultural Center, where there are different types of lectures on various topics of interest. There are also cafes, a museum inside and weekends many people will get rid of stress by dancing, you can find everything from free style, urban dance and Asian music is what today attracts the attention of young people , who passionately gather to dance and play their favorite musicians or bands.

Nice building and meeting point between the hustle and bustle of downtown and Bellavista nabe. Great art space for literature, theatre and dance. Witnessed the production of NUMANCIA, Cervantes play. Impressed.

Interesting local arts and culture center to visit. They have a lot of plays, music, and movie screenings going on all the time. It's interesting for people watching as well as it is usually filled with locals practicing dance routines and such. Fun visit.

This is cool looking building both outside to walk around and inside. There is space available on the floor level for 'street performance' as we saw some jugglers there. It sells tickets to local shows, although all shows were in Spanish when we checked so we did not buy tickets. There is also a well regarded wine store in the bottom floor.
