Holidaying in Chile, whilst otherwise great, has meant lots of meat, no genuinely spicy food and a lot of places that claim to be ‘vegetarian friendly’ which invariably means one plain pasta dish, a margarita pizza or possibly potato soup as your only option. I’ve stopped being a vegetarian for a month but my wife hasn’t, so meal times have been a bit of a drag. This place solved it all, even if it’s in a shopping centre. I nearly gave it 5 stars. Real choice, chili provided as a garnish, genuinely tasty, chopsticks available on request and even quite a nice view. We had the tofu, the Lo mein and the snake beans, all of which were very good.

We were here for a late lunch. Were seated on the nice outside terrace. Slow service. We had the surf and turf and the beef sechuan, both with white rce. Surf and turf was ok, shrimp were a bit too heavy stirfried. The beef of the beef sechuan was even blackened abd not spicy at all. Just ok food. Chilean beer was good, the waiter mistakenly served a second, which he did not put on the bill, nice gesture.

How fun to celebrate Chinese New Year in Santiago! At P F Chang's, right up the street from our fabulous hotel, Plaza El Bosque San Sebastian, we had some very tasty won ton soup, lettuce wraps with chicken, and nuevo ano especial: VIP Peking Duck. Yum! It wasn't crowded, and our food was delicious and fairly priced. Wait staff was excellent, and we managed to communicate just fine!

Had a nice mango sour and the chicken with mango plus the Singapore noodles. We had a very kind and understanding waiter and excellent food. It is more fast food than romantic dining but in its sort really good.
