Good effort on the part of tour guide, although his speech sounds a bit rehearsed. Not much to see in terms of facilities etc. Wines are really not great, quite average, would not pay the advertised prices. Also, it takes forever to get here and then back to the city. If you are knowledgeable in terms of wine, you won’t learn anything here and won’t be blown away by the wine either

We upgraded our wine tour to include a private tasting with cheese samplings. I was so glad we did! You can see the picture here of the samples they provided.

And this site is somewhat accessible by the metro subway system. It was about a 30 to 40 minute walk from the closest metro station.

They even gave us each a parting gift....a bottle of wine in a gift bag, along with a Cousino Macul wine glass with each bottle. Quite unexpected!

My boyfriend and I went to Cousino Macul to do the regular tour and wine tasting and had a lovely time! The guide was fantastic! He knew so much of the history of the winery and answered all of our questions. We were pleasantly surprised how close the winery actually was to where we were staying as well. Some of the wineries further away take full day tours however we were short on time and this tour fit perfectly into our schedule. You can take a taxi/uber from Santiago or just take the metro to Quilín station on the blue line and walk about 15/20 mins. It was a lovely afternoon, would recommend this winery to anyone visiting Santiago!

My friends & I booked this tour in addition to another tour that we attended earlier that day. It was a bit last minute, so we were not expecting too much but it ended up being one of the most fantastic experiences that we had in Santiago. Our tour guide was absolutely flawless, his name is Chris I would highly recommend requesting him to be your guide. He is extremely informative, quickwitted and to be honest I am a wine snob, but he really knew his stuff and we were able to really vibe with him. So polite & positive the entire tour. My friends & I are quite an undertaking to entertain or direct but we gladly followed Chis because he was outrageously kind & let us explore as we pleased. He did an excellent job of reading the flow of our group & tailored the tour to our liking. The wine tasting was TREMENDOUS. Chis was able to display his intricate knowledge & passion for the wine making process & the food that can accompany it. Cheeses were yum! Especially the Manchego, quite mild & nutty perfectly accompanied by their Sauvignon Blanc!!! We went when the vines weren’t vibrant but it didn’t matter, still gorgeous. Do this tour. You will not regret it! :)

Gionvanni Montero was a wonderful guide and we were able to enjoy the tour in English. The tour includes candle lit stairwells and historic wine-making information in a beautiful setting. The wine was delicious and we bought several bottles to take home. Highly recommend. Ask for Giovanni!

Cousiño Macul is a great experience and a nice vineyard to visit. Located in Vale del Maipo is one of the oldest vineyads in Chile and keeps the tradition from the Cousiños family back from the lates 19th century when the grapes farming began. The place is gorgeous and its worth the tour to know the cavas and to taste wonderful wines. Sommelier and tour leader Leo and the lady from the cashier named Edith were just outstanding in taking care of us. Extremmely recommended !

When in Chile, tour a winery.... we arrived for the first tour of the day and luck would have it we were the only ones for the 'English' tour. Giovanni Montero, our guide, was awesome. He was knowledgeable, easy going, and very attentive. He offered to take pictures at every stop and made the whole experience unforgettable. Get the premium tour, you will get an awesome tasting of 6 different wines paired with cheese at the end, and a bottle and wine glass to take home. We learned a lot and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the Santiago area!!
