I was staying there at end October 2022.
Located in the heart of Somerset and very close to center Orchard Road makes this hotel worth to stay especially if you are prefer to stay at downtown.
Food and shopping are very easy to find surrounding this hotel.
The reception located at 10th floor and easy to access by 2 lifts provided.
Check in and check out was easy and fast. They provides auto check in and out machines as well.
Room was clean and fresh. Minimalist for superior / deluxe room. But amenities wasn't minimalist though.
They provide 2 box PH water everyday.
Under the Shangri-la management this 4stars hotel worth to stay especially if you're looking for downtown city hotel

I must admit I was expecting a lot more from this hotel. It was a very basic hotel, with no sense of refinement let alone luxury.
That said, it is well located and clean, but these were pretty much the stand-out features and that is something I’d say about a budget hotel if it is the only good points.
Room was small and basic, the bar is outside by the pool so it is closed when it is raining or thunder warning….. they told me nowhere else to get a relaxing drink in the hotel, sorry bar closed. Pretty much every afternoon of my stay, and yes I know that is Singapore weather, but surely a bar indoors?
Breakfast buffet was plentiful selection and quite tasty but in the evening when it transforms into a dinner restaurant there are no menus, only a QR code to scan, I asked for a menu but told they don’t have any and I have to look on my small phone screen. Again something I’d expect in a budget venue.

In summary if you want a well located place near shops, restaurants, transport and near business district and just need somewhere to sleep then this is a good choice. If you were looking for any sort of relaxation and hints of refinement or luxury then this is definitely not the place.
